    Another VIN Location

    My 2003 Discovery 2 has a VIN engraved onto the outside of the chassis rail behind the right rear wheel (just behind the fuel filter). Found by VicRoads inspector when I registered the car in Victoria yesterday. Doesn't show build date though.

    Should show the year of manufacture as part of the Vin no.: ie.1996 model is a Ta, 2a is 2002 & 3a is 2003 & so on. Check bottom left of windscreen for the Vin no.
