    Coolant loss

I recently had coolant loss and my mechanics told me the head gasket was weeping. There is a known issue in the v8 4.0 with one row of head bolts that distorts the head etc etc anyway they said you can rebuild or try a bottle of bars leaks. Bars leaks administered and all good now for 6 months. ... Just saying

Also have purchased an OBDC sender wifi and torque app and watch the temp . Nb at idle it goes to 105deg all the time but when driving sits at 90. So I am going to look at whether my fans are coming on properly at idle. Also I have been replacing fluid with pure coolant and it is not dropping now. Cheers

No there isn't a known problem blah blah. If your mechanic said that get a new mechanic. That problem was the third row of bolts that were deleted before theRV8 became 4.0 liter. For a mechanic to say that means he doesn't know much about LR .

The little plastic 3 way split piece that sits at the bottom of the water pump. That cracks at the base and let's lots of water go but you can't see it leaking. Try that.
