Thanks, so assume NVH would kick in a certain KPH (kilometers per hour ;-) and then dissapear again?,,,,

NVH is a thing that can happen at any speed or at idle and can be caused by all sorts of things such as engine mounts, exhaust mounting, tail shafts etc.
As it stands for three different things I would say when my rear tailshaft locating spigot was stuffed I had NH. It did not vibrate as such, it was more a droning harsh sort of noise that came about 90 and disappeared about 110.
Manufactures try all different things to reduce it. Oil filled engine mounts and I have seen on a lot of rear wheel drive and 4WDs, heavy weights placed around the drive train.
Falcons hang a big weight at the rear of the transmission. Disco's have them, from memory on the diff housing near the tailshaft.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

I see so, these disturbances may not be something mechanically failing more the harmonics of the car the way it's designed?
This is my understanding of manufactures use of the term NVH.
Although what I said earlier about my case, I look at it as a "mechanically failing" issue, however I believe that it probably would have gone on for ages without being detrimental to the reliability of the vehicle.
It was more just very annoying having something wrong that I knew was not right.

Easy job but as said above check steel bush and steel spigot and replace both as a pair if signs of wear. The bush must be in good nick otherwise you will chop out the new rotoflex. Cheers

Next question, where are the 'steel bush and steel spigot located and what do they look like?."
It is not a steel bush. The bush is rubber, the spigot is steel. When you remove the tail shaft it will all be obvious.
The steel spigot is located in the centre of the diff flange and the bush is inside the tailshaft.
