    Heater core outing???

So it started with the feed hose to the heater, under the bonnet, showing signs of coolant leakage.
No big issue, fine some 3/4 heater hose at repco, remove old and install new.
    Easy.
Took her out , then relieved the pressure and topped up coolant.
Another run, and all seems good, although pressure didn't seem to come back.
No worries, thought I, let settle over night, top up in the morning, and do a run.
A so it went, took it for the run, got back home, coolant level was well down, but nothing visible at the work I did to indicate leakage.
THEN it became apparent, as coolant started to dribble out the right rear passenger door.
So I have bypassed the heater under the bonnet.
Now the question...how much to pull apart the unknown amount of the interior, to fix the heater?
I am incline not to bother because I am in Karratha, and even in winter, the heater is not used...but should we venture further...it may be required.

I know what you mean. I only fixed the heater on my daughter's D1 which was going to Derby because it was required for registration.

I wonder how similar the D1 is to the D2 under-dash config? The D1 heater core change is relatively easy if you don't follow the LR workshop manual but use the method explained on the AULRO forum.

Unfortunately, Darren's pix have disappeared but I've asked him to send them to me so I can put them back.
