    Shell Rotella T6

    Picked up 2 gallons of Shell Rotella T6 5w-40 for $80 odd bucks from GLLubricants for the TD5 Disco, the yanks seem to swear by it, anyone else used this oil? Seems to be very popular but kinda hard to obtain in Australia for some reason.

    I dont get it....

    whats the big deal?

    we already have great lubricants available here.

    there are some lubrication specialists here in the forum who can put you straight.

    just wondering why you want to bring another one in?

    i'm not after lubrication advice, just found this stuff pretty cheap & i've heard & read many positive reviews about so I thought i'd give it a go, just curious if anyone else has tried it here yet?

    Rotella is a US Shell product.

    Shell Australia's name for similar Products is Rimula.
