Springs for 2 inch lift with bullbar and winch

Hi all. I am about to fit my bullbar and winch and need To get some springs to give a 2 inch lift after adding the extra weight to the nose. I have some tough dogs 530s but the web site says these are only good for 35mm with a bullbar and winch.

What springs are you guys using that can handle the weight?

    Cheers Matt

Tough Dog sell springs for your exact purpose. I ran tough dog 35mm lift spring and shocks on my RRC. It was a great combo. Pedders also the same lift. You need to know the min and max install of your shocks before buying lift springs.

I had dobinsons but I felt they were a bit stiff with only an xrox bar and dual battery under bonnet. They definitely gave a 2 inch lift though. I think from original spring height the difference was 75mm.

I'm running Dobinson springs on my D2a now also. I've got the plus 40-100kg springs on the front. TD5, with alloy bar with winch. I think I probably would have been better off with the plus 40kg front spring. The car would sit better, but the 2 springs are the same rate just the plus 40-100kg are longer. But before you fit them find out the install of your shocks and call Dobinson to ask if they will match first.

Dobos. Great springs. I put in stock + 20 and with TJM bullbar, lpg system, v8, heavy duty tow point etc it still came up more than the top of the stock band plus 20.

I have + 2"dobinsons, & RAW NITRO shocks. The rear shocks are progressive. much better ride, & handling, very happy. Check out this site, in the D2 section. Will give you an idea on price, at least, Bob

OOps meant to say springs, not shocks. Sorry, Bob
