On the slam panel under the bonnet? That's where it is on my P38A.
The plate probably looks like this:
You can see it here (disregard circles):

Anyone know where I would find the three letter code that identifies the interior colour of my D2a? (e.g. SMS is Alpaca colour).

Whilst I do have that plaque and it does have the 'TRIM' section. Nothing has been marked, engraved or indented on the plaque under the heading.
I've never seen the trim colour/code marked on that plate on a D2. If you pull off one of the door trims there will be a label on the back of that with the colour/pattern.
I still havent found it anywhere on the vehicle, but I did match my interior up, it is HPQ Dark Tundra colour.
You can get the full build specs of your vehicle by going into an LR site.
I think it was Offtrack who got mine for me a few years ago, but there was no reference to the site name on the JPEGs I have. I also went in a couple of years ago to see if there were any outstanding programs on my car but I have forgotten the site name.
Anyone know where to get the build sheet?
Regards Philip A
the website to look up outstanding vehicle programs is: Home | TOPIx
Also is it safe to post you're vin on the net?
I can't see why it wouldn't be, was just wondering , if it is safe could someone please decode mine ?
I want to know what colour my interior is
cheers james
