    Air flow constant 4.4 Nanocom TD5 = MAF fail?

    Can someone please confirm an unchanging (idle, 3000rpm of while driving) air flow reading of 4.4 is either a failed MAF or MAF loom connection?
    It reads 4.3 with the MAF unplugged. I've also had a scenario where the car would not accelerate for about 5 second then it would take off.

    Yep. That's a dead signal and exactly the same problem I had a couple of years ago. The following thread gives some detail and pointers.

    BTW you can also check the MAF using a multimeter, but make sure it can read high enough resistances as a lot of cheap ones can't go high enough.

    Hi, just confirm that 4.4/4.3 reading is air flow(kg/h) or voltage?... anyway if it's air flow it's probably a dead MAF and there's a reading error cos it should be 0 with MAF unplugged but i've seen similar cases when the reading was not 0

    The reading is what Nanocom displays under airflow, either when in the "instruments" screen or under "TD5 inputs - Airflow"

    This was my thought as well as on another thread, possibly the one Rok_Dr has posted a link to, talked about reading 4.4 volts, gnd and variable output.
