I've never owned a D2 so I'm guessing.
Can you follow it down? I suspect it's a breather for the gearbox (if auto) or the front diff.

Cool so I have the plugs and button on the dash but no heated windscreen..
The hard pipe is probably for the rear screen washer. I haven't looked for mine but I suspect that is what it is, as the washer bottle is down between the air cleaner and wheel arch.

The Black pipe that sits behind the battery is a breather & the 2 plugs are as all has stated for the Heated Windscreen.
