It would be catastrophic if my turbo failed and the engine sucked in fragments and undid all the work I've done.

The turbo will happen after the transfer case and front prop shaft, assuming I have money left to spend.
Well if you gunna be paranoid, then what about doing the diffs front and rear, and the wheel hub bearings and the ball joints upper and lower.
Then when the days comes to head off the immobilizer packs in and it won't start
    Nah shouldn't jinx you.
Then when you do get going finally, you discover that its tarmac most of the way. It's not a difficult trip. Just ask ya Dad, he did it in a series, and he crossed a flooded Jardine, all he did was put a vacuum cleaner hose on his exhaust to keep it out of the water.
    Relax it'lll all be good
    Cheers,
    Mario

Actually dad rebuilt his series 2 from the ground up before leaving. He even blue printed the engine.

Some run for 500,000ks and others dies early, it's the luck of the draw.
