    Earliest Disco2 build date

    Hi all I have a disco2 manual td5 and the build date on micro at is 12/10/1998. Anyone know what date the first one rolled off the line? Cheers Matt

    Late Septmber 1998 would have been the first RHD of the production line.

    Well that is interesting. That means this disco was built in the first 2 weeks of production. It is a personal import so I might dig a little deeper on this. Cheers Matt

    Yep that sounds about right, August 98, released as a 99 Model here, would of had steel rims also.

    Steel rims only came out on the 2002 TL0 model.

    Friend recently sold a heap of parts that once was a 72? RRC back to UK for 10K. It was complete and not much rust.
