    Pre purchase inspection, Geelong area.

    Hello all, I am looking at buying a Discovery 2 that's in Geelong. Does any one have ip to date info on who could do a Pre purchase inspection for me?
    The car seems good to me but then I am not a mechanic, and I'd rather not replace the cylinder head (unless I can get the price dropped by 2K or so )
    The latest posts I found here was from 2010.

    Remember there are severeal other items to check which have a much higher likelihood of failure than the head on a td5 disco.

    Eg the trans will eventually wear out but the head may not.
