I have been able to get these down to 269 a corner fitted. Pretty happy with that as I have been quoted up to $330. I'll let you know how I go.
Toyo seem to have a good wrap with a couple of tyre guys trying to direct me that way. About $330 was the cheapest there though. So I'm ordering the grabbers tomorrow.

You seem to have bargained well Mattg. :D
I have a lot of time for both Toyo and Grabber tyres in general and as tyre manufacturers. Although not MTs' as you asked about but the Toyo ATs' on my LSE Rangie and the AT Grabbers on a mates Rangie P38 perform very well indeed. No complaints at all from either of us and we would happily buy again.

Cracking tyre. I haven't driven on them but after the shock and reaction from the tyre guy at how thick the side wall was I compared it to the BFG next to it and the Bighorn and it is thicker then both. The bighorn is like glad wrap in comparison. GLad I stayed away from them.

What size did you wind up with Matt

265/75/16 drove on them today on the hwy and the noise is not that bad at all for a muddy. Quiter then the wrangler mt they have replaced. Love the new tyre feeling.

their website says 3 ply rating....
is that sidewall?
if so I wouldnt have them.
I have never used lighter than 6ply sidewalls, currently run 8 ply
I have never staked a tyre or even had a puncture in 100's of k's.
what happens when you air "right down"?

I think you're confusing the the ply rating of the tyre carcus with the sidewall construction.
Most LT rated tyres of this size are 8 or 10 ply rated carcus with a 3 ply constructed sidewall.
Eg Maxxis MT 753 are 10 ply rated with a 3 ply sidewall.

Well up to the cape and back to cairns and so far no punctures or issues. Awesome grip and did well aired down in the sand. Great on the gravel. Cracking tyre and nice and quiet in my opinion.

Excellent. I loves the Maxxis Bravo 751 and have had several sets. I have had the AT2 and think they are good, but not as good as the 751 for towing - too much tread squirm; although I might have got a bad batch as others have said the AT2 tows very well. I tried a lot of different pressures too. The MT looks sweet, but again its horses for courses depending on what you are towing etc. I would like to hear a towing report.
Cheers
