Thread: Transfer case breather?

When installing rear coils today I found this dangling from my vehicle. My educated guess is its the transfer care breather.

Am I correct?
Where should it be routed?





I have temporarily cable tied it up out of the way.

Runs up to the top of the firewall and hook over the coolant hoses on the left side (as you stand infront of the vehicle staring into the engine bay). You should see others there already. Check the hose for damage - may have rubber through on the propellor shaft.
