Is there a loss of power , hissing noise under boost ?
Massive loss I cant go past 80ks but if I bypass it it will go all the way to 110+ easy and there is no hissing noise
Just to be clear , are you bypassing the waste gate actuator ( near turbo) or the boost controller with the 3 hoses ? .
You may have a seized wastegate .
the boost controller I connected the preasure pipe from the bottom turbo pipe to the wastgate and got 12 psi
You need to plug in a tester cos it might be a bad MAP/IAT or AAP sensor signal which you can't check other way and the wastegate modulator is managed based on them, untill then see if the MAP/IAT is not full of muck...presumably you'll get a fault code as well unless it's fuel delivery issue...do you still have EGR? ...unplug the MAF and see how it goes and check fuse F2 in engine bay to rule it out
Discovery Td5 (2000), manual, tuned
Try cleaning maf , map sensors , but check your wastegate is not stuck partly open .
will do thanks
ok so I have cleaned every sensor that I could find checked the wastgate that was all good and then found the problem it was a pin hole in my boost gauge pipe,i replasted it and wow my old girl is back
