Anyone in Melbourne that owns a Nanocom or Hawkeye for Disco 2 v8?

Hi guys, I now have a flashing odometer due to replacement of the BCM. After a little reading here, you all say that the ECU BCU and cluster have lost there relationship with each other because of the new BCU and the Hawkeye or Nanocom will only fix it...
I simply can't justify spending around 1k for a device that I probably won't ever use again.
I'm happy to meet up with one of you and pay for the service and clear this problem. Apart from this hiccup, I've never had a issue with the Disco. Its a 2003 V8.
    Thanks guys.

Check out the members with diagnostic equipment thread there is bound to be someone nearby and as you only need to communicate with the bcu a td5 one may work

Be aware, if it's a scond hand BCU and you are not certain of what mileage is stored in it the only thing you must do is to disable the odometer warning dont sync the odometer with the BCU cos if the mileage in the BCU is greater it will be assumed by the odometer too.

As a note, you can use either the td5 or v8 for the bcu sync. Welcome to try mine if you like, but I had real troubles syncing them, and even still I think it may have done it because of something to do with 16 ignition cycles automatically syncing it.
