    3 Amigos

T/C, Down Hill assist and ABS lights all come on together. They do not go off unless the ignition is turned off and the car restarted. It is an intermittent problem that may happen each day or not happen for 600kms. Can any one suggest what the problem may be?

I've actually never looked in here, plenty of good useful info for folks, so the ones that are handy, should never get frustrated with their Land Rover right? .

Interesting the repair of the abs unit, the re-soldering the two pins etc etc.
Since Discos' were pretty new (just out of warranty) so what 10 - 14 years ago I started seeing this issue, but went about it a bit different.

I run the circuit external from the shuttle switch back into the harness, I do it when fitting a new switch assembly, I couldnt see anything like that there, but admit to not looking too hard. I've never thought to share this mod but happy to if somehow its not known about?

    Regards

I think that is known as the option b fix, which in my single experience appears the best bet.

Yes option B fix is the one to do.
It usually fixes the intermittent Amigo problem.
A sensor fault usually sets the Amigos to stay on.
The ones when you turn off the ignition and it resets , and plays nicely for some time, I found to be the shuttle valve option B fix, and do a new shuttle valve switch at the same time.

interestingly the the original web site that posted the repair procedures has taken down the repair info.

    Cheers,
    Mario
