    Here u go blokes.

It still needs to be painted, I've hit it with some grey I had left over from my D1, but eventually I'll get some D2 beige mixed up and hit it with that.

    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Actually it's the fact that the USA insisted on OBD2 standard and the V8 was USA market.

Prior to that there was no need to meet OBD2 standard and the Lucas ECU wasn't designed with it in mind.

Yes, did know that. But when you think of the way some things are done re landrover engineering makes perfect sense it works but sometimes not the way you think!

    It's quite simple,

Find a piece of storm water pipe that your gauge or whatever will fit in.
    Glue it to the pillar.
Wrap the whole lot in track suit-pant material and liberally apply fiberglass resin.

Alow to dry. Bog and sand as required.

Same process with the 4 on top of the dash.

The track suiting can be a bit fiddly. But perseverance and superglue will prevail.

yes it works with a V8, Torque is the android app, just need an old smartphone.
The only problem is every time you turn the car off you have to restart the app( and sometimes the whole phone)
then on any sort of long trip you need to power it somehow.
