What thermostat do you have and where did you get it from?

Mate my 4.0 used to run hotter also. Im trying to find out what thermostat the mechanic put in with the 4 6.

No petrol. I usually average 15-16 l per 100k on petrol and 16.5-18 on LPG.

pel500110 is my thermostat. I just posted temps over the last 8000k in another thread on the D2 board.
Where you really notice the 4.6 is in third gear (manual trans) (VERY flexible) and also towing heavy loads with 4.6 litres of long stroke high compression. Its just great fun and mine hasnt got the ECU re-tune so it will probably have more in it, although I really dont notice any flatspot). Funnily enough a mate of mine with a D2a had a 4.6 put in and his comment to me was the same about 3rd gear being his favourate. It just pulls in third from just off idle to the redline. This is pretty impressive because there is no fluid flywheel to gear down when adding throttle.
