I had a similar problem where I had to press the key 10 or so times before the car would lock/unlock. Had to swap the car battery one day as it suddenly failed, was starting perfect and then all of a sudden a few hours later could hardly even try turn the engine over. Anyway after that all my issues were gone. Never really figured out how to make sense of it all.
Think I might invest in a Nanocom. I'll have to look further into this one.Quote:

I've got two fobs, but one fails to work (it used to), even after replacing the battery. Light still dhows up on the fob, but won't talk to the car. I haven't tried resyncing it yet, but seems odd that one would suddenly stop working.
This won't set off my alarm will it? Where is the fob receiver located in the car? Not quite sure where to find it in RAVE.Quote:
