I think available from Dave - Inc - on this forum. It monitors coolant level and I think coolant heat. Mine just does coolant level.
These Land Rover V8s are very sensitive to any over heating resulting in leaking head gaskets and/or warped heads. Maintain the viability of your engine cooling system and don't forget the cooling fan viscous hub.

Seems I have much to learn, shall have to do some research before I get too carried away with my interior restorations, would rather make sure the engine doesn't break on me first lol
Had him on a few drives now with full family in and it's really nice so far, am feeling much more at home driving than in the mini, fun though the little thing is.

Engine Saver - David Jones 0427 159 668 www.enginesaver.com.au
Get a kit for D2 V8.
Typical clear peel off on roof paint. You ought to finish it in base and clear to get the best result.
Headliner covering can be replaced - plenty of info on the forum, and people who have done it as well.

Oooh that looks very nice! I love the leather seats.
There is no denying that these cars are just the best adventure machines. I love mind despite its many issues :D

engine saver
I too think the engine saver is the first thing to put in your landy. I have one and have had a coolant problem for a while ( fixed now) but what a wonderful thing. Every time I was low on coolant told me I was.
Only one stuff up needed to cook your donk
Really nice looking Disco bye the way.
Regards Nick.
PS. I had my bonnet and whole roof resprayed for $ 1200.00. It transformed my landy. Now looks like new.

I have Super Oscars and Engine Saver. Both are excellent. I have the black version of your seats...the electric adjustables are a great thing. Cheers

I had the V8 in black with leather for 10 years. Great car. I agree with everyone. Look after the coolant. Those engines hate getting hot.

Well it's been several weeks since getting Brutus and a few issues are showing, nothing too major I don't think but I guess it was only a matter of time.
There could be some sort of electrical fault because randomly the dashboard warning lights come on and go off when they feel like it but a disco on the dash of the disco is something I can live with for now.
Second issue is that when the engine is cold it shudders a fair bit when driving, but not when standing still, I have no clue as to a possible cause of this but again something I can live with for now till after we move house, far too many other expenses right now lol.
The third and main issue, is that I think the speedometer is broken as I went through one of those advisory checks and where I thought I was going 110 it stated I was actually going 122. I have been through the same speed check in the mini and it has been mostly correct in the past. This is further compounded by the fine I received for speeding for about the same difference. That was last week, I have since taken to driving 10-15k under the limit till I work out what is going on. Maybe Brutus is out to get me...

Which dashboard warning lights? All of them?
And from looking at the pics, those aren't stock size tyres.... 265/75s? They'll put your Speedo out about that much....
