    Thanks to everyone for your help with this. Will check AAP reading drops under hard acceleration.

    there is a MAF sensor which fits and has a different translation curve so it might not exceed 680 but can affect response at middle revs if the fuel map is not addapted to it, it's used with proper remap and has good reviews, part nr 5WK9605, 5WK9608, 5WK9605Z, 13621432356
    I've noticed in some situations with the factory engine MAP the MAF reading gets to 660 than goes to 0. On occasion when this happens it surges. The first error I had is resolved for the most part but his problem is not consistent with over boosting and is not as violent as the previous issue.

    I again on occasion get a air flow high reading. Keep in mind this is on the factory MAP. I'm using a VDO replacement MAF and have a snorkel with the head facing backward because I thought it was what caused the air speed high fault before all these other dramas.
    Is this the VDO MAF or could it be something else?
