Question My facelift disco came with pre facelift brush guard. Keep it or not?

So, the previous owner installed the pre-facelift brush guard on my D2a. He wasn't able to install it on the chassis, so he fixed it on the bumper mounts (??)

My question is considering both aesthetics and safety: keep it or toss it?

    Thanks

They offer little protection, the side "Wings" will just fold back and cause damage as there is no support on the flimsy pipes.
You also got to make sure it's fitted to factory specs so your airbags aren't compromised in a collision.

Ok guys, I'm going to remove it.

What do I do with the spotlights? Since I plan to add a rook rack in the future, I thought about keeping the wiring/installation and just cut (and isolate) the wire near the lights. I guess it will work, won't it?

Just gave a better look and they're attached to the crush cans... Seems like the previous owner drilled a hole on the crush cans to attach it. Any problems?

They are probably the crappiest accessory offered by LR. I have had 2 on my d1. They are flimsy. Better than nothing but only just. Ditch it for a TJM or ARB. Cheers
