Turned off my immobiliser a little while ago with the Nanocom. Easily done.
whats the pros n cons of turning it off?
Current Cars:
2013 E3 Maloo, 350kw
2008 RRS, TDV8
1995 VS Clubsport
Previous Cars:
2008 ML63, V8
2002 VY SS Ute, 300kw
2002 Disco 2, LS1 conversion
So anyone in Townsville with a Nanocom who could assist Mangrove Jack give this a go?
I haven't used any diagnostic tool so unsure what this is telling me. Logically does this info ['disable-key never'] show that the immobiliser can't be immobilised? After reading Pedro's, and other contributors' thread about immobilising I still can't pick up an absolute statement about yes or no. Maybe it is just me!
The townsville dealer is pretty hopeless, but you could maybe try Matty at Mark Nixon Automotive in Hamill St Garbutt, he's got a Nanacom or similar and should be able to do it for you.
