That depends on the setting... cos there are 4 of it in the BCU settings:Quote:

the superlock can be such pain in the b*tt if the motor fails locked(dont ask me how i know:mad:) as my option was to set it on 1.
About 10 years ago I was visiting a friend in a very remote location and the same thing happened to her disco2. Only problem was it was superlocked with the keys in the ignition. The only way I could get into it without damaging anything was to first open the bonnet with a long screwdriver through the grill. Once I had the battery out I carefully used a coathanger wire to fish out the wires between the drivers door and the body. They are in a rubber tube to protect them - so carefully slide it back over the wires a little to gain access to them. Be careful not to damage the paintwork as you have to fish them out through the small gap between the front door and the front fender. I pulled out the 2 thickest wires I could find as I had no idea of colour coding or a wiring diagram. You can only JUST get them to protrude through the gap with the coathanger wire holding them outsider the bodywork. The power windows have the 2 thickest wires. So I used bits of coathanger wire to carefully pierce the insulation of the wires and apply power from the battery. Of course the first attempt tried to put the window up - murphys law lol. I reversed the connections and the window wound down enough to get the key out. Took about 3 hours total and a lot of swearing to do it. It was a gamble - it could have damaged the electrics in the doorlocks or BCU if I got the wires wrong But we were over 100km from help and had no mobile phone signal. But it was better than smashing a window etc.

What we did was use a screw driver(protecting paint with a rag) to lever the top rear corner of the LH front door out to give a small opening.
Throgh this hole we used a UHF aerial(or was it a sand flag section) to push the door lock button on the dash.
Yes, the alarm will go off when the door opens, open the drivers door first to get access to the key fob.
