Hi, let nanocom plugged in on instrument mode and watch the battery voltage when the symptom occurs
Hi,
My series 2 disco TD5 suffers from engine hesitation/misfire immediately after i wade through water ( deep or shallow). The misfire/hesitation only lasts for a few kilometers and all goes back to normal.
Plugged in the Nanocom to see if any faults recorded, all clear so not sure what is happening, obviously there is some electrical issue with water.
ECU has recently been out due to injector harness oil issue and re sealed, so I'm guessing there is another problem.
Vehicle is fitted with snorkel and all joints well sealed.
Any suggestions?
regards
Busa

Discovery Td5 (2000), manual, tuned
Do as Sierrafery says. You have not said if it is auto, if so it may be related to the xyz switch.
Cheers Scott
Hi,
Yes it is auto, whats the xyz switch, and how does this cause the misfire?
Thanks
Busa
Also, just because - water on the passenger side front floor will cause issues with the AUTO ECU as it is under the passenger seat.
I would't call that shallow water though.
