Alternatively if you do decide to keep the immobiliser on, you can buy blank keys with fob ready to be cut and programmed for $70 on eBay. Any locksmith can cut and a local friendly aulro member to program to your car.

I have no local aulro members (that I know of) but I guess this is another job for Nanocom. Have to work on SWMBO
There's a couple not too far that may be able to help - see the map here: http://www.aulro.com/afvb/electronic...-2015-a-3.html
Thanks Simon, but sadly Bondi and Hunter Valley are a goodly way from Western Victoria (near Horsham) Even South Melbourne sounds a bit more local! It's true - not many people know Toolondo unless they are trout fishers.
Thanks Simon. Glenisla is pretty local. Roversmith sounds like promising contact. With a Nanomcom on its way to us as we speak I'm hoping this will be one of its first jobs. looks like it can either immobilise the immobiliser or programme a new fob. Either way will get the job done and save $100's. That will appease SWIMBO somewhat if the expensive gizmo can start earning its keep.:)
