Supporterrighto after some swearing etc, I have hit a hurdle after doing my trans and swapping the internals over from a zf424 to my housing I had found the pump on my trans seized, so used the pump out of the 24 I do not think this turned out to be a good idea as now the torque converter is going to be a problem.
does anyone out there know if another converter can be made to fit and cannot use the large V8 one as will not fit into housing only other option is to buy a ZF22 oil pump which I should be able to change in the car without having to pull everything out again.

Supporteryes it is longer and the shaft out of the A clutch pack is longer too so looks like I may be trying to chase up another oil pump from a ZF 22 any one know where one is lying around?

SupporterI have just had an offer of a 97 TDI trans does anyone know what the cooler line size is going into this is it the same as the TD5 being a zf would not think they would change that much as the pipes were the same size between the 22 and 24 pumps.
