    A simple task that requires Ingenuity



    Check out the debris in the aircon in my Disco 2 after the 2014 hail storm. Leaves and a few chunks of plastic from the Plenum panel under the windscreen. I had also let the filter strip that runs under the bonnet edge rot away.

    Only noticed it when the weather turned warm.

    To get all that crud out I used a for of garden hose in the end of the vacuum cleaner and an iPhone and a torch to see around the impossible conner.

    The fan is really easy to get out so its maybe worthwhile to take it out occasionally. You just have to take out the glovebox, remove the trim panel underneath, and undo 4 bolts.
    Mine had a biro in it, and I took off the impeller and added a bit of oil.
