A genuine blade might not fix it. Believe it or not, some windows are actually very slightly convex around the high mount stop light area & no blade will sweep that area if that's the case.
Yesterday I replaced the rear windscreen wiper arm. The American British video was very useful. The orange trim removal tools from ebay were barely adequate. I took the wheel off to give me more room.
It still misses the top third so I have to get a genuine wiper blade, one of these days.
Cheers
Bo

I also have only 2/3 rds. of the arc being wiped on my D2 rear window.
I always figured a new wiper arm should have been the fix for this. Surely they must have wiped the whole arc when they were new?
Is there a cure for this problem?
Regards Nick.
Yes that sounds about right for Land rover.
So, does that mean that ALL land rovers have rear wipers that do not work as designed?
If you haven't bought a new wiper arm , then remove the spare , work the arm back and forth and lube the pivots, make sure the blade is supple, normally fixes it unless the spring has lost tension
My rear wiper didn't wipe the top of the window and found it was because the Australian sun had softened the plastic and made it sag. Cheap aftermarket ones are not good enough.
I fitted a D1 steel one and now no problems.
