The question is: did inspect well to see traces of oil passed through the removed hub when you replaced it? that's why i said about the o-ring cos i've seen very few cases of leaks through the hub even if they were cheap ones, if the oil passes the o-ring it will be spreaded all over the inner side of the wiheel so it might be confusing but a leak through the capsulated part should be quite obviuos IMO
I replaced my rear left seal with the help of RAVE. A simple exercise, if you take your time. There is only one O-ring, of course, between the hub bearing & axle casing. No sealant of any kind is needed, if the mating surfaces are clean, & free of burrs. All you need do is use diff oil to lubricate the O-ring. One thing to remember, is the torque ratings. Hub to axle, 100 Nm. Drive shaft nut, or stake nut, 490 Nm. I have no leaks.
The seals fitted were Genuine land rover supplied by me

Hi Jason,
The axel vent isn't blocked or at least partially blocked is it? My Stepson did his twice then found the axel vent kinked when the vehicle weight was on the wheels, looked ok when the vehicle was on jacks replacing the axel seal. Just a thought.
