corrosion at the plugs or even within that fusebox on the PCB is quite common and can give you really hard time with various symptoms... immobiliser issues as wellThat guy huh,,

That won't hurt, if you want to open it insert coins all around near the clips and then you can pull it apart it easyly, and manage the fuses as to put them back in the same order... and be aware get one which is removed from your kind of modell, i mean facelift or not it's a difference between them, the part numbers are not important just to be confirmed that it was facelift or non-facelift and match your's
