7kms? Kids are spoilt !! Now in my day................................. we would have rode the bike to kindy and back!:Rolling::Rolling::Rolling::Rolling:and milked the cows on the way in!:D:D
Might be the month for it........
Just completed a 6k trip and check oil everyday. Didnt really change until last day where it was down a bit. 350kms to home so left it.
Got home drove around a week , so maybe about 1oookms in total. Check oil and it was below min....
Topped it up to just below Max, did about 400kms and its down to a quarter again.....
So will need further investigations...
Also noticed the injector wiring has oil in it, so will order a new one to replace that before it comes a problem.
So it could be going into the wiring harness?

Not sure how much goes into the loom, not much I guess. Not enough to show up on the dipstick maybe.
I am wondering if its the type of oil. Mine has done around 7k since oil change and I am not sure what oil was put it. It was done by LR specialist, but that doesn't guarantee the right oil went in.
Well, since I added a litre of oil, maybe 200mls too much, I have not had any loss of oil. I'm not sure what is going on. Maybe using 700mls per 10k kms is within specs. This is about another 2500k kms.
I have another trip to the ACT in April, I'll see how it goes.
I am trying to delude myself that the oil has been going down slowly and I haven't noticed it. Yeah right.
I guess that maybe adding a litre or two between changes is not that bad. Or is it?
