    Sticky throttle

    Hi All
After driving my td5 auto it idles at about 1000 rpm in park until I blip the throttle then returns to 750 rpm. Is this the beginning of anything to worry about or is there somewhere i can spray a bit of lube to fix it

    John

Seeing that the accelerator is all electronic , I would be checking that there is nothing catching around the pedal area , like a floor mat.

If that is all clear then it is probably like the wallet symbol in a 38A, it means you will have to open your wallet wide soon.
Seriously though, a Nanocom look at the throttle parameters will be in order.

I have noticed similar whilst running the AirCon, I have found that switching off the ac usually brings the revs down, or, left to its own devices, the revs drop when the compressor cycles out.

Putting my foot under the pedal and pulling back does nothing.I have always run the aircon and have never noticed it before, I will check further today.

    Thanks John
