    Tm4 on discovery 2 td5 automatic , cable length requirements

    Quick question before I place the order for a dual sensor tm4 (I will monitor auto transmission and engine temperatures). Order it with the standard 4m length or should I order it with a longer cable? Thanks in advance

    I ordered mine with the std cable.. use the bolt at the back of the head and one of the Auto near the bell housing.. I mounted mine in the map holder (thing above your head) and i had more then enough cable.

    First of all, thank you for your feedback. There are a few bolts around the bell-housing, can you please let me know which one in particular?

    Not near my D2 at the moment... pick something on the Auto itself and near the pan. From memory i found an empty threaded hole cleaned and fitted a bolt to it.
