    SYNCING V8 ECU

    can anyone tell me what the procedure is for syncing an ecu on a v8 d2 we are having an issue and wish to try another ecu to rule it out cheers

    1. Disconnect battery
    2. Connect the ECU
    3. Reconnect battery
    4. Connect tester
    5. ignition on II
    In Utility Menu -
    6. Learn security code
    7. Reset addaptive values

    Start it and go

    that's all you can do with nanocom or other ''domestic" tester, for other deeper programming(which is not mandatory to make it run) Testbook T4 is needed
    Discovery Td5 (2000), manual, tuned

    as the man said, also once sync'ed you should be able refit any of the syc'ed ecus back in and they will be recognised without having to go thru the process again.
