    Wish it was mine......... Hope the owner doesnt mind me posting pictures..... Its in the UK

    It has a cummins 6bt and a zf gearbox. You can buy that combo in the UK....

    The ZF is bolted then via an adapter to the LT230.

    Dont think you could get it regeod in OZ. Not sure, maybe if you use 2003 engine on a 2003 vehicle you might. Would be good though.

    The cummins can put easily over 200hp. with the TD5 the Disco cruises along ok, but with the cummins, it would be far sweeter IMHO.

    I do have a Cummins and a broken Disco.(body is shot) Would be great to do this conversion.

    I think the main one would be the weight over the front axle

    Not at all a good thing for vehicle dynamics and the NVH inside the cab would be horrendous. There is a goood reason that these are truck engines.....

    The 4bd1 IMO is a better idea only because it would be lighter.... Still too unrefined for a D2.
