Ok, tried it several times whilst holding the the revs in pleasure mode.

No difference, although like every other landrover I have ever driven or owned, the drum seems to have warped!

So still isolated to the engine.

Out of curiosity, what was the fix for reattling handbrake pads?

Convert to disc.
