To be honest, I think that you will find the problem lays with the shocks rather than the springs. If the ride height is settling etc, then probably the springs, but if its handling related then I'd be looking at the shocks first, particularly the rear shocks on a D2 as they need to work very hard.

Its also worth getting under and checking all of the suspension bushes, the sway bar D-bushes (chassis mounts), lateral play in the watts linkage and the sway bar links haven't snapped which they can do.
    Cheers

I combined these with Bilstien shocks. For me this combo is quite good for everyday driving with the odd off road.

    Hi Scott
Did you have to space the gearbox crossmember with these?

Space the crossmember? Nope, remember its only about an inch. And I third what Slunnie said, make certain all else is in order as it all has to work together to achieve the aim

Have found Kings Springs HD progressive rate coils and Bilstein shocks to be an excellent combination, assuming it's already have airbag conversion. If it still has airbag rear, Bilstein shocks still the way to go, they'll just be a different part number.
I spent nine years with Fulcrum Suspension after four years at Pedders Suspension, have fit and sold heaps of them to Disco's including my own...

The D2a i bought new,at around 90K, had leaking front shocks, and sagged at the front,it was a 5 seater and coils all around.

I replaced all the shocks with bilstein, coils from King springs, all around, standard height. The difference was amazing.

The only thing is if you carry heavy loads in the rear, the standard kings maybe a bit soft. But if you fit the HD coils, the ride empty will be harsher.
