I teach STEM, Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics. This is part of my Professional Development. I'd guess that the education department would be pleased that I am providing the materials and saving them money.
I'm not sure of the design at present. I think a threaded shank may have to much lateral wobble. The two ideas at the moment are total removal of the mounting pin "axle" m6 bolt, washer and nylock nut, that may still have a lateral instability. Or partial removal of "axle" that leave 6 mm or so of "axle" for the wheel to run on.
Or may be a double wheel version with the threaded shank. I need to have a good look at the assembly to see if this would work.
