Pedal feels great !! Cold pads ... dunno (new pads). 1st 2 attempts at braking (I was bedding the pads in) were like having no brakes, but once the rotors had a bit of heat in them the next 10 white knuckle stops from 60-70 were bloody brilliant ... managed to get the ABS to kick in once, and one of the tyres (brand new) had no coloured bands or nipple thingys visible after about 8km of driving. Dig in the brake pedal and it feels like it's gonna stand on its nose !

Yeah, I consider myself to have a high level of mechanical sympathy, but these pads were metallic types ... made out of a mixture of used grader blades & unobtainium, and the rotors reflect that. It braked average and faded rather easily. I reckon you'd need 3x sets of rotors to 1x set of pads !! ... now it stops like a race car [bigwhistle]
Best upgrade I've done to the D2. Especially since most of its remaining life will be towing the kamper.
