After 7K since my last oil change oil spots all over the back of the disco from a loose filter, it was tight when i put it on. Followed by an extensive high pressure clean underneath.

Not today but on Friday last.
Went on a Treasure hunt/rally for old fogies.
SWMBO insisted on driving and me as navigator.
    Goes Ok for a while.
I run back to find number of garage doors on a property, to find D2 smoking from under bonnet. PANIC.
Turns out handbrake left partially on.
Hop in away we go. Next stop key has separated from key blade. this happens twice. SWMBO immune to explanations that they are meant to come apart but a lot of force needed. This after she did the same with her keys.

Next stop, nobody can exit car. Unlock switch does not work. What the hell?
Turns out SWMBO is pressing lock button on key while pulling it from lock which has deadlocked all doors.
By this time my nerves are pretty frayed.

Yesterday I fitted a CDL to the old girl( not SWMBO) in recompense.

    Regards Philip A

Mine sat for probably 10-12 months before I could afford to fix it and run it
Now I hardly have time to open the bonnet, and the money to play with it
But it's getting a new passenger side door lock actuator (valentine's day present and subtle hint from SWMBO) and I have some D2a lights to clean up and fit.
