Sorry mate, wasn’t meant to offend anyone. Was actually referring to my car. I run drilled/slotted front and back. Wouldn’t go back. Makes me laugh to think of my truck as a racecar. [emoji106]

Well, today I fitted the new SLS air filter, and new discs/pads on the front of Bluey. (Non-drilled, non-slotted!) [bigrolf]
Tomorrow I'm hoping to attack the diffs/gearboxes with new fluids, and pull out the front driveshaft to rebuild the double cardan joint with some greasable unis.
I understand the bigger tyre deal and others. My point was that the D2 stops on a dime as standard. Much better than most if not all 4wds of the same era. Seems a bit overkill for slotted discs on a standard bus.
Also I wasn't hanging **** on another person's POV. Just interested to see if others with them think it's worth it. Didn't want to get into a ****ing contest.
I'll stick with my standard pads and discs. I think it stops fine. But I have close to standard wheel sizes.
Spent a pleasant afternoon (3hrs) replacing the starter motor and fitting replacement contacts in the solenoid of the spare. I will feel better after a beer!
