It was the compulsory move to Sydney as there was a Japanese school there that caused me to take retrenchment and be reemployed by Ford Australia.
BTW it would have been 1980-81.

I had a mate from school whose dad worked there...... primary school in Chiltern.
It was pretty cool to know someone who knew how to make TVs and fit remote controls

my Disco 1 was much simpler......
Was Sanyo around in Wodonga in the mid 70s. I vaguely remember making TV cabinets for ( what I thought was) Sanyo for a couple of months between leaving school and joining the ADF in mid 75.
off topic again, what happened to your disco is now TVs. [bigwhistle]
