I'm just gunna say mine started. [bighmmm]
Glad to report that absolutely nothing went wrong on our recent relocation from the Wimmera to Bowen, QLD.
Towing the 2 tonne trailer sailer was a breeze tho I had to drive on the Nanocom temperature gauge.
The chirruping has stopped and the harmonic balancer didn't fall off.
My only complaint was that it was a wee bit hot on 40+ days not being able to use the ac or wind down the driver's window.
As usual impressed with the fuel economy from 7 to 8 km to litre.
All in all a successful trip and thinking of keeping the beast if we can get through the roadworthy. 😊
Cheers
Pete
Tried to keep it in the 80s (upper end) but on inclines it would set off the Nanocom warning and I'd drop the speed down. Inclines all in 3rd locked. One very hot day I drove in mainly 3rd L and I don't have fuel figures for that. Mostly in the low 90s that day. Having dropped speed and reset the Nanocom it was already down to 94/96.
Oil still looks good and never needed to top up the rad.
Has anyone else noticed their Td5 getting really laggy off the line in this hot weather? Mines an auto with a new maf reading correctly through nanocom so can rule that out.
Had a couple of pretty dodgy roundabout and other intersection experiences around town. Just won't rev until vehicle has rolled into intersection then slowly builds before turbo seems to spool up and takes off.
Temps are really hot though, talking 43-45 over the last few days.
