Curious to see the type of engine mount failure
Gearbox mounts Rick, not engine. No perceivable difference in vibration or anything else except my bank balance.
I have to say I'm happy witn SBL's ethic, with the work well done and within their cost estimate. Justinc's gift of a heavy duty flex plate was much appreciated by me and my little rectangular piece of plastic. Thank you Justin.
The car was in for a week, but that's the price you have to pay for a popular and competent specialist.

Today I washed the shed floor with new ACE fluid, after replacing the banjo fitting washers.
In the light of tomorrow, I'll have to follow the lines to the pump.

I'd use degreaser, not ACE fluid, if I had a shed!!

I used all the degreaser before and after I did the job. Then it pumped the fluid out.

Nah! ..... you don't want a shed Julian.
All you end up doing is covering the floor with grease, oils, and now it seems ... ACE fluids too.
Less of a hassle to One's self when those processes are perpetrated on 'common ground'

    But but but.....

We know we're going to have work on our beasts and it's so much easier on a decent surface.

I so miss having a shed What happened to your Discovery 2 today?

And no one will believe me but you do find that 10mm socket when you drop it on a concrete floor, at least most of the time.

That doesn't happen when on grass......
