Took apart the Inflator/Deflator and as expected there was a transformer, 12V - removed that and wired for power to the on switch of the ARB compressor, simple, compressor on, Inflator/Deflator on. The beeper removal is as simple as opening up the box and disconnecting it. Not really required for 4WDriving anyway.
Mine is a single pump ARB compressor- don’t think a double wouldn’t fit as the single is fairly snug.

New unit? OEM? it is a Bosch part. Genuine is very expensive.
I have seen here about using two headless bolts to fit up the piece easily.
I am not looking forward to this, but It does need fixing.
Isn't the 6 cylinder Ford unit the same, also a Bosch item?
Depends where the leak is. Gasket can leak. Most likely actual regulator so any suitable can be fitted to housing, but new gasket and o ring desirable.Quote:

If it is really old the hose to the front of the head could be brittle so maybe a complete new unit required. Mine snapped like a twig when I bent it.
The front connection to head is VERY difficult requiring the making of tools ( thinned 14Mm OE with right angle near head of spanner) if inlet manifold not removed.

This is coming out of the rear of the unit. From what I could see. I have a crows foot socket for the front pipe, that will come of easy. I have seen Bosch kit it has two different gaskets EU2 and EU3 and O rings. Youtube will help, I've helped with this and the owner took the inlet manifold off to get access. I hope to avoid that!

I thought maybe a pipe spanner may get onto it too, but nope.
When we did brothers, in the end the only way for it to come off, I cut the pipe, used a socket and then fitted the short quick connect tube off the old regulator body. Slipped a hose over the quick connect bead and clamped.
It worked fine, but hose finally came loose after about 3-4 years, and drove me crazy trying to keep it on, which I finally managed and got home ... and next day, I then couldn't get it off again!
Recently I did manage to get it all fixed up tho, I had to cut the once slippery, now stuck! ... hose off. Bought some quick connect fittings, clamped hose onto quick connect and the hose is far more easily replaceable now.
If you do that front pipe/hose, no matter which way to go about it, make sure you replace the O-ring too.
