what happened to it.
well its got the diffs, transfer and auto serviced, i think the bearings are starting to go in the rear diff lots of grinding paste (or it dident like the 15'000km as a rear wheel drive) and the transfer had a bit fillings.
also done engine diffs transfer and auto on the rents old rrc don't think they had been done in a while the auto oil was black (which explains the black oil on the ground when we had to move it with the radiator out and thought the black oil on the ground must of been from the engine as it was old diesel black oil so considering that its had oil topped up and it was still very dark brown i think i might flush it a few times before it gets a filter
Discovered that the 3 Amigos applies to the SLS too.....
Putting the camper trailer in for repairs and lowered the suspension to the bump stops to hitch, first time Gillian has towed so she stops at the bottom of the drive as I close the garage.
She says all these lights came on, I just thinks meh ABS, ETC, whatever, we're only going 10 mins down the road.
5 mins later I'm thinking, the nose seems high and it's riding like a dog.... realized the airbags hadn't re-inflated due to the fault code, quick engine off and on at the lights and all's good.
Definitely one to remember for SLS people that those lights might be a bit more important depending on what you have just been doing....
Finally replaced my MAF after lots of dithering and yes it is worth it. Better performance and smoother. Why did it take me so long......
Modified the steering wheel radio controls to work with aftermarket head unit, too tight to buy an adapter and cost me less than $5
