Too much back pressure I think.
Really? Do you think it’s too small? I remember Phillip having no issues with his.

I have a Flashlube Catch Can waiting to be installed which the ebay clones outwardly resemble. I had a conversation recently with a technician at Flashlube who said they get sent faulty ebay clones from ebay purchasers asking for warranty replacement which is refused because they’ve not purchased the Flashlube branded product which is German made. He observed that a common problem with the faulty clones is non functioning pressure relief valves....

    Into a D2 again

    Hi There,
Sold the Sport and now ventured into another D2 TD5 auto, 240k on the clock. Minor oil leak on the tranny case, 2 inch lift and a dodgy L/H rear air bag. Apart from that the only issue I have is that the roof rack rails only allow me to drive in forward into the car port. Yes I could lower the suspension however then the dodgy air bag comes into play.

Engine sounds and runs fine, front indicator / side lights in the bull bar (AR are rooted, new ones on order. Headlining fine, has a dual battery set up which right now doesn't have the dual battery. Did have a vibration however a quick balance seems to have sorted that out. Some minor condensation in the R/H front headlight, this is to be investigated. 275 X 65 X 16 fitted these just rub on the chassis rail on full lock, no surprises here...… Tranny seems to "slip" more than my old D2, I'll have to see how this goes, done an oil change, yet to do the filter.

    Cheers Marty

Just found out that the time delay on the rear wiper can be adjusted on the right wiper stalk even when you have the front wipers on constantWhat happened to your Discovery 2 today?

Installed a momentary N/O switch for my CDL. Now the TC and ABS stay on when I restart with CDL engaged. But can press the button and have them disable on restart when I want.
Also discovered I can run wires from passenger to driver side by removing the A/C controller and passing wire behind it. Wish I had actually thought about this BEFORE running my gauge wiring under the centre console!! What happened to your Discovery 2 today?
