I'm still unsure if I'm a fan of the pod, I would not like to alter the lines of the dash if that makes sense. I know I am picky!

Still keen to see more pics, has anyone done an A pillar pod?
I'll have a play this weekend and put up some pics of ideas.

I had my remote face below the cup holder but kept bumping it with the low range lever. Mine is now above the rear vision mirror, with a rocker switch in the sunroof panel for my driving lights.
I agree, I don't want to change the lines of the dash with a mud pod.

Hi muppett, my brother had a UHFCB head unit mounted under his cup holder and hated it for the same reason as you. The CB died after 8 years solid use and for replacement he went with the speaker mic with radio button controls. He's not keen on the mudpod though. It'd be a boring world if we all thought the same eh!

I reckon your pillar pod and dash pods would be quite popular if you ever made a few more ;-)

Or you could make something like this which houses 60mm gauges. It is just MDF and speaker carpet. The engine watchdog is from the bloke in Mission beach and has 2 sensors - head temp and gearbox cooler outlet temp.
